But no less, it is the beauty of the Sentiero dei Fortini which crosses the low cliffs of the western part of the island, an ancient communication route between the English forts to defend the island, or to see the very famous Faraglioni of Capri up close with the Sentiero dei del Pizzolungo, which will let us discover unforgettable glimpses, such as from the Belvedere di Tragara, or from the Natural Arch, to then reach Villa Jovis through the narrow alleys, the ancient residence of the Roman Emperor Tiberius built two thousand years ago on a rocky outcrop peak over the sea at 300 meters above sea level.
