Path of Lemons
The Lemon Path is a pleasant walk among the fragrant lemon groves of the agricultural area of the Amalfi Coast.
We start from Maiori from the collegiate church of Santa Maria a Mare built in the thirteenth century, resting on the steep rocky ridge, we will find ourselves in a beautiful valley surrounded by terraces, here we meet a rich and varied vegetation, synthesis of the Mediterranean, including the characteristic trees of “sciuscelle” local name of carob, olive trees, and vines.
We then cross the whole village until we reach a beautiful panoramic terrace overlooking the valley, from here, in few minutes, we can descend and arrive in Minori, a small fishing village, where we can visit the beautiful roman villa from the 2st century (€6 not included) or you can taste some delicacy from one of the best pastry shop of the region.
In this tour includes “lemon tour” in one of the most beautiful lemon groves on the area, where we will learn the techniques of lemon processing and have a tasting of lemon-based produce within the same lemon grove.

DIFFICULTY LEVELS
T = Tourist – Itinerary on small roads, stairs, mule tracks or wide paths. The routes generally do not require specific training other than that typical of the walk; suitable for everyone.
H = Hiking – Routes on paths or obvious traces in various types of terrain (pastures, debris, stones …). They are generally marked with red and white paint or only red They can also take place in snowy environments but only slightly inclined. They require training to walk even for a few hours and stress on the knees for the presence of long stretches of stairs, suitable for all.
EH = Experienced hikers – these routes are generally signposted but with some difficulty: the terrain can be made up of slippery slopes of grass, mixed of rocks and grass, rocks, although paths that do not require special equipment you can present individual rocky passages easy to climb (use of hands in some places). They require surefootedness and absence of vertigo. The physical preparation must be adequate for a day of fairly continuous walking.
